Tip of Your Fingers

The internet is amazing. Anything you need to know just do a little research right at your desk and Walla you have information.I got the answer!

I was making dinner one night – I have a flat top stove and I happened to put a plastic bag right on the burner I didn’t realize it until the plastic was totally melted to the stove.

It look horrible I tried to get it off but couldn’t. I used everything I could think of including trying to scrap it off with a razor blade still nothing.

Well what did I do then – went to the internet of course and I found the solution! WD-40 and a razor blade, within 5 minutes of getting the product home I had the problem solved.

I feel like a little like Seinfeld…

Keeping Dreams Alive

I love this quote it reminds me that no matter what a persons age, the importance of a dream is never diminished. My dad always had a project going – a dream. Towards the end of his life when he knew he didn’t have much time he was still working on his projects.

What is your dream?

Getting Older

Getting older can be all consuming if you let it, especially in our society that seems to focus on youthfulness.  I remember Thinking about lifewhen my grandma was about 75 and a widower, a younger man was flirting with her at the grocery store she smiled at me and said, “I guess I still have it” then she said, “I would not date at my age, especially with aids going around.” Grandma!  I thought what kind of comment was that. The thought of her having a physical relationship was unthinkable, and I thought it was so funny.

As I get older, I realize I don’t feel older, I feel the same way as I did at 30 but with a lot more life experience under my belt.  My grandma must have felt the same way, and I think most of us do. When I am with a bunch of 30 or 40 something’s I feel like I am their age and then the reality hits me; I am the oldest in the room…

If I knew at 20 what I know now my life would have been completely different, but then again, I wouldn’t be who I am today.
